food changes

So my club is not very good about sending out information (it's more like word of mouth, and if you miss it....) so what's up with the food - what can we feed now?

it seems like the northern clubs hear stuff before we do, anyone have the low down?
thanks

The email came directly from GDB about the change in food. They will be feeding Purina ProPlan Large Breed Puppy at the campus, and puppy raisers with pups at home can continue with SD or change to another food on the approved list, in consultation with your leader.

It also says to take a seam ripper and rip the SD patch off your puppy coat!!

It's actually kinda confusing. The distribution doesn't seem to have worked right. It came out as a "Leader Link" which should have only gone out to leaders. But, it seems that it went to some raisers, but not others?!?! No idea what they actually did on the send out, but it looks like something didn't happen quite right.

So, no change for pups in home except for taking the patch off the puppy coast (Yippy!!) Pups in homes can switch with leader approval - just like they could before. New babies will be on ProPlan from the start. Yippy!!

GDA changed their food to Purina Pro Plan Shredded Chicken and Rice in October and Fern came home on the Purina Pro Plan Chicken and Rice Puppy in August as one of the two test litters of the food.

My vet had also recommended Pro Plan for Andromeda and Oceana when they were having problems with Natural Balance in July. All my girls have not have any problems with the food and really like it.
