Hey, we have a Toyota Rav4, too (although we bought it before we had Cabana)--and it's perfect for puppy raising! It gets great mileage, but ours has cloth seats, which seem to have a magnetic attraction to fur.
I'm looking at the CR-V, insight and the civc-hybred. I want the civic, and the insight looks fun, but...where to put the dogs. The CRV's mileage is not so good, but dogs fit in there. *sigh* not sure what just yet.

Haha!!! I did that at the end of last year. Ungraded from my little Impreza to a Rav4 so they would have more room and I could fit kennels in!
I have been thinking about trading in my Pontiac for a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav4 for that very reason. LOL, too funny you should post this right now.

AH YES!! I'm tired of craming the dogs in peoples laps and etc.. :D
Been there, done that. Sold the tiny Escort for a full size suburau wagon! So what did you buy???
Get a CR-V! They are fab - mine is still going strong.

I always think of my dogs when picking my car as well! My mom has a Rav4 and It's great for dogs but that lab hair gets EVERYWHERE!!!!
We made our house purchase with dog happiness as the main consideration. I think that qualifies :)
You Win ;D
